Role Overview
We are seeking a commercially driven and well-connected professional to lead partnerships, sponsorships, ecosystem development, and strategic collaborations for Singapore Blockchain Week.
The role combines business development, stakeholder engagement, sponsorship sales, event partnerships, and ecosystem building to drive revenue growth and strengthen SBW's position as Southeast Asia's leading institutional blockchain and AI platform.
Key Responsibilities
Partnerships & Ecosystem Development
- Establish strategic relationships with government agencies, trade associations, chambers of commerce, enterprises, investors, accelerators, universities, and ecosystem builders.
- Secure co-hosts, supporting organisations, media partners, community partners, and knowledge partners.
- Build regional roadshows and cross-border collaboration opportunities.
- Identify and onboard anchor events, pavilions, delegations, and ecosystem showcases.
Programme & Event Development
- Support the development of conferences, forums, summits, roundtables, builderthons, ideathons, and networking programmes.
- Curate speakers, institutional participants, and strategic stakeholders.
- Work closely with programme and marketing teams to ensure successful delivery.
Sponsor & Partner Fulfilment
- Oversee sponsor deliverables and visibility commitments.
- Coordinate branding, speaking opportunities, exhibition requirements, and marketing activations.
- Maintain sponsor satisfaction and long-term partner relationships.
- Prepare post-event reports and partnership impact summaries.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in sponsorship sales, partnerships, business development, events, conferences, venture capital, technology, AI, Web3, fintech, or related sectors.
- Strong network across corporate, government, startup, investor, and technology ecosystems.
- Proven ability to secure sponsorships, partnerships, or strategic collaborations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong execution capability.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience
- Blockchain, Web3, AI, fintech, venture capital, startup ecosystem, innovation, or technology conferences.
- Regional business development across ASEAN.
- Conference production, ecosystem building, or strategic partnership management.
