Autism Association (Singapore) or AA(S), is a Social Service Agency dedicated to supporting and serving individuals with autism to maximise their potential, helping them lead meaningful and quality lives in society.

Working as a team from different professional background, we work interdependently to provide the best evidence-informed practices that we know so that quality education can be provided through an autism focused curriculum, competent staff, and strong family collaboration

Your role and contribution:

1)    Class Support

·       Assist the teacher in the class to work with the students.

·       Assist the teacher in using Visual Supports and ASD Prompts for the students.

·       Assist the teacher to set up the resources and physical arrangements in the class.

·       Assist the teacher to prepare resources for teaching and learning.

·       Assist the teacher when they bring the students out of school for their off-site activities.

·       Assist the teachers in special events.

2)    Play @ Recess

·       Prepare the toys/games and set up the play stations for Play @ Recess.

3)    Training

·       Attend relevant training both in house and external as assigned by the school.

Your work location will be either (Based on School’s Operational Needs and typically will remain the same during the course of your contract):

(a) Eden School - 101 Bukit Batok West Ave 3 Singapore 659168 or

(b) Eden School (Campus 2) - 1 Bukit Batok West Avenue 2, Singapore 659203

As our Teacher Aide (Part-Time), you will be playing a supportive role in class and support our Educators so that they can carry out the lesson smoothly.

This is a 1-year renewable contract position. Our Teacher Aide (Part-Time), will work either the morning or afternoon shift for 5 days a week.

Work hour for morning shift is 8.30am to 1.30pm and afternoon shift is 12.30pm to 5.30pm
