Job Summary

We seek a part-time piano and electric keyboard teacher to deliver engaging lessons on Saturdays and weekdays, ensuring students meet ABRSM, Trinity, or LCM exam board standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging piano and electric keyboard lessons that develop students’ musical skills effectively
• Apply detailed knowledge of ABRSM, Trinity, or LCM exam board requirements to prepare students for successful assessments
• Assess students’ abilities promptly and accurately to tailor teaching methods that enhance learning outcomes
• Create and maintain a supportive, motivating learning environment that encourages student progress and builds confidence

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in piano or electric keyboard instruction
• Familiarity with ABRSM, Trinity, or LCM exam board syllabi and assessment criteria
• Demonstrate sight-reading skills and teaching methodology during the interview
• Completed Grade 6 music theory or above
