Job Summary

We are seeking passionate Pottery Trainers to deliver beginner-friendly pottery and ceramics workshops for adult learners, fostering a fun and supportive hands-on learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct beginner-level pottery and ceramics training sessions to develop learners’ foundational skills
• Teach basic pottery techniques including hand-building and wheel throwing to enable practical skill acquisition
• Demonstrate correct use of pottery tools, materials, and equipment to ensure safe and effective practice
• Guide learners through hands-on activities and creative projects to enhance their artistic expression
• Facilitate learner engagement and manage classroom participation to maintain an interactive learning atmosphere
• Maintain workshop cleanliness and enforce safety protocols for proper handling of materials and equipment
• Support lesson preparation and classroom setup to ensure smooth session delivery

Required competencies and certifications

• ACLP-certified or currently undergoing ACLP training
• Experience practicing pottery, ceramics, or clay art
• Comfortable teaching adult learners in classroom or workshop settings
• Ability to manage classroom flow independently and maintain learner focus

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Prior experience teaching, facilitating workshops, or coaching to improve learner engagement and knowledge transfer
• Proficiency in wheel throwing and glazing techniques
• Background in arts, design, or creative workshop facilitation
• Experience conducting corporate, lifestyle, or community workshops
