Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive eye check-ups for customers.
• Perform vision refraction for customers aged eight years and above.
• Interpret and explain optical prescriptions accurately.
• Edge lenses according to prescribed specifications.
• Dispense and adjust spectacle frames to ensure proper fit and comfort.
• Follow up on customer appointments and maintain accurate records.
• Provide professional advice and optical consultation on suitable spectacles and lenses.
• Manage daily shop operations including retail sales and customer service.
• Handle inventory control and ensure stock levels are maintained.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Registered Optician with OOB (Pre-registered candidates are welcome!)
• Possess at least Nitec in Opticianry.
• Prior experience in optical retail is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proactive and customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
