(Laser Micro-Processing Systems)

A fast-growing laser equipment manufacturer is seeking an Optical Engineer to support the development and optimization of laser micro-processing systems for semiconductor and PCB drilling applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize optical paths and laser beam delivery systems
• Select and integrate optical components (lenses, mirrors, scanners, beam expanders, etc.)
• Support optical alignment, testing, and performance optimization
• Collaborate with motion control and laser process teams to improve system accuracy and stability
• Participate in troubleshooting and continuous improvement of optical systems

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Optics, Physics, Photonics, or related fields
• 5+ years’ experience in laser optics or opto-mechanical system design
• Familiar with optical design tools (e.g., Zemax or equivalent)
• Experience in laser micro-machining, PCB, or semiconductor equipment preferred
• Hands-on experience with optical assembly and alignment is a plus
