Key Duties

• Lead daily operations of wastewater treatment and waste management facilities
• Develop and implement strategies for waste collection, treatment, recycling, and disposal
• Drive business growth, cost optimisation, and operational efficiency
• Manage budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation
• Establish and track KPIs, performance metrics, and reporting systems
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards
• Promote sustainability, recycling initiatives, and waste reduction programs
• Build and enforce a strong safety culture; lead audits and incident investigations
• Manage and develop cross-functional teams (operations, sales, customer service)
• Handle client relationships, service delivery, and issue resolution
• Prepare management reports, forecasts, and strategic plans

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Waste Management / Wastewater Treatment
• At least 2 years in a Managerial or Leadership role
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, waste disposal, and recycling processes
• Proven experience in budgeting, financial management, and cost control
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, operational environment
• Relevant certifications in waste management or environmental services are an advantage
