Role Summary:

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the manufacturing facility to ensure production targets are met efficiently, safely, and within budget. This role focuses on optimizing production processes, managing resources, and maintaining high-quality standards to meet customer demands.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Production Management: Lead and coordinate manufacturing processes to ensure on-time delivery and optimal throughput.

• Operational Efficiency: Identify bottlenecks and implement Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and improve productivity.

• Quality Control: Ensure all products meet company and regulatory quality standards; oversee the implementation of QA/QC protocols.

• Supply Chain & Inventory: Monitor raw material levels and coordinate with procurement to prevent production delays.

• Budgeting & Cost Control: Manage departmental budgets, reduce operational costs, and oversee Capex projects for new equipment.

• Health& Safety (EHS): Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations to maintain a zero-accident workplace.

• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor production supervisors and staff; manage performance evaluations and labor scheduling.

 Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering ,Business Administration, or Operations Management.

• Experience: 5+ years of management experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP/MRP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Certifications: Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt) or PMP certifications are highly preferred.

• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, leadership presence, and excellent communication skills.

Work Environment:

This position typically requires presence on the manufacturing floor, involving exposure to noise, machinery, and industrial elements, alongside office-based administrative tasks.
