Job Description

Report directly to the Commercial Manager and provide timely updates on voyage and operational matters.
Convey voyage instructions accurately and promptly, including charter party details, to vessels, port agents, and other stakeholders.
Oversee day-to-day operations of chartered vessels, ensuring efficient ship tracking, turnaround, and quick dispatch through close coordination with ship owners, agents, and shippers.
Manage documentation processes, including Bills of Lading (B/L), letters of indemnity, and load/discharge port documents,ensuring proper filing and compliance.
Calculate laytime for each voyage with supporting documentation.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of optimal operational modes for vessels operated by the company.
Liaise with ship owners, shippers, port agents, receivers and internal departments to ensure smooth execution of charter parties and proper dissemination of information.
Take initiative to act promptly and appropriately to safeguard the company’s reputation.
Assist with loading report compilation,compliance records, and other ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.
