About Us

Moral Welfare Home is a Welfare Home providing care and accommodation for residents with multiple disabilities (physically/ intellectually disabled, psychiatric illness). The Home is gazetted by the Ministry of Social and Family Development, who is providing funding for the residents, who are destitute and wards of the state.

About the Role

The Operations Executive manages the shift revolving around the daily care of residents. He/ She will be working with colleagues from multidisciplinary teams in ensuring that the well-being of residents is maintained and upheld morally and ethically. He/ She will ensure that all facilities are serviceable and operational procedures and conducted accordingly and properly. He/ She will uphold communication standards as a representative of the Home, in his/ her correspondence with external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities of a Operations Executive are listed in the following, but not limited to:

· Aware and oversee all operational matters on shift, and ensure that matters are reported accordingly to supervisors (Senior Operations Executive, Assistant Manager, Assistant Superintendent)

· Maintain good housekeeping and conduct inspections to ensure that facilities are serviceable, and that all procedures are conducted timely and with standards

· Check on general cleanliness of Home within dormitories and toilets, and check general areas for mosquito breeding

· Work within the Operations Team on portfolios revolving around the upkeep of facilities and aspects of resident care

· Uphold communication standards in preparation of Incident Reports and email correspondences with external stakeholders (Public, Vendors, Kin, Governmental Bodies)

· Oversee and provide supervision for Junior Staff to ensure that the operational needs are met during shifts

· Maintain good working relationships with colleagues within a multidisciplinary team to address the needs of residents through a multidisciplinary approach

· Address the psychosocial needs of residents through care & counselling and behaviour modification efforts, in-line with the Case Management Team

· Any other duties as assigned by the Superintendent of the Home

Qualifications and Skills

· Diploma and above in any discipline, preferably in Healthcare, Nursing, Social Work, Psychology or related fields

· Able to perform rotating 3-shift duties, including weekends and public holidays

· Strong report writing and documentation skills, with adherence to organisational and regulatory standards

· Salary will be commensurate with relevant experience and aligned with prevailing sector norms

· Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; relevant experience in healthcare or social service settings will be an advantage

· Comfortable working with residents with multiple needs, including physical, intellectual and psychiatric conditions

· Demonstrates good interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills in a multidisciplinary environment

· Able to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced care setting

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting
