Job Summary:
We are seeking an Operations Executive to support the smooth and efficient daily operations of our maritime services. This role is essential in ensuring that our operations, procurement, and customer service functions run seamlessly, meeting the needs of our global maritime clientele. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in maritime operations, and supply chain management, and be adept at coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries and optimal inventory management. This position requires excellent communication, organizational skills, and the ability to adapt to the fast-paced demands of the maritime sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Order Management:
· Respond to incoming sales inquiries, process orders, and provide timely follow-ups via phone and email.
· Collaborate with customers to ensure that their orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
Procurement and Purchasing:
· Handle purchasing inquiries, create purchase orders, and follow up with suppliers.
· Coordinate the timely delivery of goods and services to vessels worldwide.
Inventory Management:
· Monitor inventory levels, track stock movements, and ensure the accuracy of data entry for inventory stocks.
· Ensure that stocks are replenished and managed in alignment with company requirements and demand.
Customer Service & Coordination:
· Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
· Ensure smooth communication with vessels and suppliers, maintaining clear and timely updates on deliveries and inventory.
Operations Coordination:
· Arrange for the timely delivery of products to connect with vessels across global locations.
· Monitor and follow up on shipping schedules, ensuring that products arrive at the correct destinations on time.
Skills & Qualifications:
· Maritime graduate or diploma with at least 2 years of experience in marine operations, procurement, and supply chain management.
· Proven track record in operations and procurement within the maritime sector.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Able to handle fast-paced environments and multiple priorities.
· Self-driven and motivated with the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
· Adaptable and open to learning new skills and processes.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
