Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day afloat repairs, lifesaving & fire-fighting inspections, and offshore projects
• Handle technical, operational, and commercial aspects of projects to ensure timely completion and quality standards
• Prepare quotations and project costing
• Raise requisitions for materials, tools, and equipment; coordinate with procurement team
• Issue POs to subcontractors and monitor repair teams/subcontractors for job execution
• Liaise with shipowners, managers, shipyards, agents, and other stakeholders
• Manage warehouse tools & equipment (including calibration)
• Coordinate logistics for engineers, team, tools & equipment to/from job sites
• Prepare and submit project documentation and certificates to clients; update ERP system
• Provide remote technical support to customers
• Support development of repair techniques, training, and team building

Requirements

• Diploma in Marine Engineering or equivalent
• Knowledge of marine machinery and equipment is required
• At least 3 years’ related experience (shipyard or onboard ship preferred; afloat repair coordination advantageous)
• Strong communication skills with ability to work under pressure and outside office hours
• Bilingual in English & Mandarin (to liaise with China HQ counterparts)
