Job Summary

You will support daily transport and logistics operations by assisting in route planning, driver coordination, permit applications, customer communication, and data management to ensure smooth cargo and container operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Operations Controller in planning next-day routes and assigning jobs to drivers to optimize transport efficiency
• Communicate directly with customers to understand and process their transport service requests
• Apply for LTA permits for oversized vehicles and coordinate CISCO escort services to ensure regulatory compliance
• Enter drivers’ daily job data accurately into Google Drive tracking sheets to maintain up-to-date operational records
• Support preparation and generation of service quotations for customers to facilitate sales and service processes
• Maintain organized records and schedules to support smooth daily logistics operations

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• 2 years experience in logistics or related roles
• Familiarity with loose cargo and container operations, including container shipment, customs, and port regulations (import and export)
• Proficiency in data entry and use of Google Drive, Google Sheets, or Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication skills for scheduling and customer liaison
• Ability to work a 5.5-day work week
