Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
• Assist surgeons and anaesthetists during operations, ensuring patient safety and aseptic practices at all times.
• Prepare and maintain the operating room, instruments, and equipment before, during, and after procedures.
• Monitor patients’ conditions and respond promptly to clinical changes.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement, infection control, and patient safety initiatives.
• Supervise and guide junior nurses and support staff where required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognised institution.
• Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
• Preferably with relevant experience in Operating Theatre nursing; training will be provided for new entrants.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills.
