Job Summary

Manage administrative and accounting functions to support efficient billing, payment collection, and financial record accuracy within a dynamic FMCG trading environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute comprehensive administrative duties to ensure smooth office operations and support business functions
  • Issue invoices, delivery orders, and credit notes accurately to facilitate timely customer billing
  • Monitor accounts receivable and proactively follow up on outstanding payments to optimize cash flow
  • Collect payments efficiently from customers, ensuring adherence to agreed terms and timelines
  • Perform precise data entry to maintain up-to-date and accurate accounting records
  • Reconcile bank statements and customer accounts to verify financial accuracy and resolve discrepancies
  • Collaborate with sales teams and customers to address and resolve billing inquiries and issues
  • Prepare clear and concise reports for management to support financial oversight and decision-making

Required competencies and certifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel to analyze and manage financial data effectively
  • Strong follow-up skills to ensure timely payment collection and resolution of outstanding accounts
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and accountability
  • Detail-oriented approach to maintain accuracy in accounting records and billing processes

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Minimum Nitec / Diploma in Accounting, Business, or related field
  • 1–3 years of relevant administrative or accounts experience, preferably within the FMCG industry
  • Experience with accounting software to enhance financial processing efficiency
