The Job:

1. Technology Developer – Polymer chemist focuses on polymerize and formulate new DoD adhesives. Industry experience preferred but not mandatory.
2. Technology Developer – electro chemist focuses on design of electrical debondable adhesives. Industry experience preferred but not mandatory.

5. Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

• Initiate, perform and support key developments of products, materials, processes, technology modules and methods within the framework of feasibility studies, business cases and/or projects, incl. experimental work and coordination of lab, pilot or production trials
• Continuously ensure and drive the development of knowledge within specific sub technology field (width & depth).
• Contribute to and initiate invention disclosures.
• Perform literature and patent searches in consultation with the related responsible persons, support FTO analysis from a technological perspective. 
• Provide input to the relevant Technology Roadmap(s) while making investment recommendations for technology development.
• Actively build up and maintain internal and external networks, with the focus on technological aspects incl. scouting and screening of new raw materials (e.g. suppliers, institutions, academia).
• Support recruiting and technical guidance of students or apprentices

6. Qualification

1. Educational level & Certifications

PhD degree in Science or Engineering discipline or Master degree or Degree in Science or Engineering or in discipline with at least 3 years of experience
