Job Responsibilities

• Lead the national finance function for Singapore (and cluster accountability for Malaysia), overseeing all financial planning, reporting, governance and compliance activities in line with global finance strategy.
• Act as a strategic Finance Business Partner to the National Management Team, providing commercial insights and financial guidance to support business growth and long-term value creation.
• Own the financial evaluation of major commercial and operational decisions, ensuring transparency of end-to-end financial impact, risks and returns.
• Drive strong financial performance management, cost discipline and accountability across all business units through robust budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking.
• Influence commercial negotiations, pricing models and contract structures to optimise margins, working capital and sustainable profitability.
• Oversee the accuracy, integrity and timeliness of financial statements, management reports and statutory submissions to internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage cash flow, working capital and capital expenditure to ensure financial stability, liquidity and efficient use of resources.
• Ensure strong governance, internal controls and compliance with local regulations, global policies and accounting standards, including liaison with auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing finance team, with clear succession planning, talent development and capability building.
• Drive continuous improvement of finance processes and collaboration with global shared services and finance centres to enhance efficiency and quality.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline, with a recognised professional qualification (ACCA, CPA or CA).
• At least 10 years of progressive finance experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership or management role.
• Strong commercial acumen with proven experience in business partnering, financial modelling, performance management and decision support.
• Solid understanding of governance, risk management, regulatory compliance and audit requirements in a complex, multi-entity environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a multicultural and international setting.
