Location: Kenko Wellness Spa & Reflexology (Various outlets islandwide)

Job Description

As a Massage Therapist at Kenko Wellness Spa & Reflexology, you will play a vital role in providing professional wellness and relaxation treatments that embody the Kenko brand’s commitment to health, rejuvenation, and exceptional service. You will be responsible for delivering a range of body and foot treatments tailored to each client’s needs, while ensuring a consistently high level of customer satisfaction and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform foot reflexology, full-body massage, head, neck & shoulder massage, and other therapeutic treatments as assigned.
• Conduct pre-treatment consultations to assess client needs and tailor services accordingly.
• Recommend appropriate massage techniques or follow-up treatments based on client wellness goals.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in all treatment rooms and work areas.
• Ensure compliance with Kenko’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and service quality standards.
• Promote Kenko’s wellness philosophy and products to clients when appropriate.
• Assist in scheduling, preparing treatment rooms, and maintaining equipment and supplies.
• Uphold professional ethics, confidentiality, and excellent customer service at all times.

Job Requirements

Education & Qualifications

Possess at least an ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Holistic Massage (or equivalent recognized international certification).

Additional certifications in Reflexology, Aromatherapy, or Body Massage Techniques will be an advantage.

Experience

Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience as a massage or spa therapist preferred.

Fresh graduates with strong foundational training and practical assessment from ITEC courses may also be considered.

Skills & Attributes

Excellent knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and massage principles.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-oriented approach.

Physically fit, with good stamina and hand strength for professional massage delivery.

High standards of personal grooming, professionalism, and hygiene.

Able to work on rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Other Requirements

Must be customer-service driven and passionate about health and wellness.

Able to work both independently and as part of a spa team.

Bilingual ability (English and Mandarin or other local languages) is advantageous for client communication.

Career Progression
