Job Summary

As a Marketing Intern at August Hair Salon, you will contribute to the salon’s brand growth by creating engaging digital content, supporting promotional campaigns, and enhancing customer engagement through social media and influencer activities. You will gain hands-on experience in marketing within the beauty industry while collaborating with a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and publish engaging content across social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook to increase brand visibility and customer engagement
• Plan and support the execution of promotional campaigns and special offers to drive customer interest and sales
• Capture high-quality photos and videos of hairstyles, treatments, and salon events to showcase services and attract new clients
• Facilitate influencer and customer engagement initiatives to build brand loyalty and expand reach
• Monitor and manage online reviews and customer feedback to maintain a positive brand reputation
• Conduct market and trend research within the beauty industry to inform marketing strategies and content creation
• Assist with marketing administrative tasks and daily operational support to ensure smooth campaign execution

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Currently studying or graduated in Marketing, Media, Business, or related fields
• Strong interest in beauty, hair, fashion, or lifestyle trends to inform creative marketing approaches
• Proficiency or willingness to learn basic digital tools such as Canva and CapCut for content creation
• Demonstrated creativity and comfort using social media platforms for brand promotion
• Responsible, proactive attitude with eagerness to learn and contribute to team goals
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders
