Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Director cum Sales Manager to lead the company’s marketing strategy, student recruitment efforts, branding, social media marketing, and business development activities. The candidate will play a key role in driving enrolment growth, strengthening brand presence, and developing promotional strategies across both traditional and digital platforms.

The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, sales, and digital marketing capabilities, especially in Chinese social media and content marketing platforms, with strong understanding of the China and Asia market.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Branding

• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and student enrolment.
• Manage digital marketing campaigns across social media platforms including XiaoHongShu (小红书), Shi Pin Hao (视频号), Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other online channels.
• Create and oversee engaging promotional content, short videos, livestreams, and advertisements.
• Plan and coordinate marketing events, education fairs, workshops, and promotional activities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and analyse campaign performance.

Sales & Student Recruitment

• Drive student recruitment targets for local and international markets.
• Conduct course consultations and follow up on enquiries to maximise conversion rates.
• Build and maintain relationships with education agents, corporate partners, and external stakeholders.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and recruitment analysis for management review.

Social Media & Content Promotion

• Manage and grow the company’s presence on XiaoHongShu (小红书) and Shi Pin Hao (视频号).
• Develop content strategies to promote programmes and services similar to the company’s products and offerings.
• Work closely with influencers, partners, or content creators to increase online exposure and lead generation.
• Analyse social media engagement and optimise content performance.

Business Development

• Identify new business opportunities and strategic collaborations.
• Develop partnerships with schools, companies, and overseas agencies.
• Support expansion initiatives and new programme promotions.

Team Leadership

• Lead and manage the marketing and sales team to achieve departmental KPIs.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance monitoring for team members.
• Ensure smooth coordination between academic, operations, and marketing departments.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
• More than 10 years of relevant working experience in marketing, sales, branding, or business development.
• Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience managing new media and social media platforms.
• Strong experience in XiaoHongShu (小红书), Shi Pin Hao (视频号), short video marketing, livestream promotions, and digital content strategies.
• Familiar with China and Asia market trends, consumer behaviour, and marketing strategies.
• Experience in the education industry will be an advantage.
• Strong leadership, presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Creative and knowledgeable in content marketing, short video creation, and online promotions.
• Target-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese-speaking clients, students, and partners.
