Job Description: 

As EM Services expands its communications function to include marketing communications, we are seeking a Marketing Communications Executive to support the development of engaging, audience-focused content while maintaining strong corporate and governance standards.

This role sits within the Corporate Development (Corporate Communications) team and supports branding, campaigns, events and outreach initiatives through content creation, design and visual storytelling.

Key Responsibilities 

1.      Content Development& Brand Management

·        Support the planning and execution of marketing communications initiatives aligned with corporate and brand objectives

·        Translate corporate messages into engaging visual and written content for digital, print and event use

·        Design marketing and communications materials such as posters, banners, social media visuals, presentation decks and simple publications

·        Adapt content for different platforms while ensuring brand consistency and compliance with corporate guidelines

·        Support internal and external communications efforts, including campaigns, announcements and engagement activities

·        Support competitor monitoring

2.      Event Support

·        Provide photography support for selected corporate, community and stakeholder events

·        Support in the execution of selected corporate, community and stakeholder events

3.      Digital Media

·        Perform basic photo editing, selection and asset management

·        Assist with basic video editing or multimedia content where required (if skillsets allows) 

4.      Administrative Support

·        Maintain and manage visual assets, templates and design files

·        Support the department in sourcing for products and services as well as data collection

·        Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

·        Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Mass Communication, Design or related discipline

·        2-4 years of relevant experience in marketing communications, corporate communications or design-related roles

·        Good copywriting skills with strong command of written and spoken English 

·        Knowledge of design and editing software (e.g. Adobe Photoshop/Adobe Illustrator/Premier Pro/Canva) 

·        Knowledge of Adobe InDesign is an advantage but not mandatory

·        Comfortable with event photography and on-site coverage

·        Basic photo editing skills required

·        Video editing skills are an advantage; candidates without prior experience should be willing to learn and support basic video editing tasks as part of the role

·        Strong attention to detail, good time management and ability to handle multiple tasks 

·        Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage deliverables under tight timelines

·        Team player
