Job Summary:
Lead the hotel’s overall marketing and communications strategy across Rooms and F&B to strengthen brand visibility, drive direct business, and enhance in-house marketing capabilities. Partner closely with Revenue and F&B teams to deliver integrated campaigns and digital initiatives that support the hotel’s commercial goals.
Areas of Focus:
Develop and execute a 360° marketing and communications plan that spans branding, digital, public relations, partnerships, and e-commerce. Build internal marketing capability, strengthen the hotel’s direct business channels, and position Royal Plaza as a leading independent hotel in Singapore.
Strategic Responsibilities / Duties:
- Lead the development and implementation of the Annual Business and Marketing Plan across Rooms, F&B, and e-commerce.
- Oversee branding and digital transformation projects to build in-house marketing competency.
- Drive direct business by optimising hotel and F&B campaigns beyond OTA reliance.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships to expand brand reach and revenue potential.
- Plan and execute multi-channel marketing and PR initiatives to achieve targeted ROI and KPI outcomes.
- Guide development of an integrated e-commerce platform to grow direct revenue and customer engagement.
- Oversee online and offline customer journeys and ensure consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints.
- Manage media relations, publicity, and crisis communication.
- Provide marketing leadership and guidance to the Senior Marketing Executive and agency partners.
- Report campaign performance, ROI, and key insights to the Commercial Director.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in marketing, communications, and digital strategy, preferably within hospitality (Rooms and F&B exposure essential).
- Strong understanding of both hotel and F&B operations, with a proven ability to integrate marketing efforts across departments.
- Demonstrated success in leading digital performance and brand campaigns (SEO, SEM, metasearch, CRM, social media, and content strategy).
- Strategic thinker with analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Experienced in partnerships or ecosystems such as Triptease, D-Edge, and Sojern will be an advantage.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and project management abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a flair for storytelling and brand development.
- Resourceful, agile, and adaptable to evolving market dynamics.
