Job Description

  • Develop and expand both new and existing client relationships, not limited to ship owners and operator
  • Working closely with our network of local agents for commercial growth in the maritime sector
  • Strengthen and expand clientele across Southeast Asia, in close collaboration with local agents
  • Driving sales turnover across our full service and product portfolio
  • Developing and executing regional sales strategies and budgets
  • Supporting local agents commercially and technically.
  • Monitoring market and competitor developments.
  • Leading acquisition efforts and following up on quotations.
  • Collaborating with Internal Sales Engineers and Service Coordinators on complex quotations
  • Sharing and leveraging networking contacts across regions
  • Managing client claims.
  • Providing functional leadership to the regional team
  • Ensuring client satisfaction through proactive service and communication.

Requirements

  • At least 5 – 10 years in sales within the maritime or technical services sector
  • Ability to understand customer needs and market dynamics and positioning of company’s product portfolio
  • Providing guidance to clients through complex quotations and negotiations by applying clear legal and financial insight
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills to build trust and long-term partnerships;
  • Able to communicate with clarity and impact
  • Client centric to portray transparency, reliability, and committed to provide quality service
  • Self-motivated and accountable, ensuring promises to clients are fulfilled with deliverable results
  • Collaborating with cross functional teams, taking ownership while contributing to shared success
  • Flexible and proactive, open to adapt and adopt changes for continuous improvement
  • Able to travel for client visitation or for other business needs
