Salary Range: $1500 - $2500 + OT + Overseas allowances
Working days: Mon – Fri, 8am – 5:30pm; Sat 8am – 1pm
Working location: Tuas (sometime onboard vessels / offshore sites)

Responsibilities

• Traveling to shipyard/docking area where the vessel is located.
• Testing the performance of marine engines and electrical systems.
• Carrying out overhaul/troubleshooting of main engines and generators.
• Completing service records and repair documents; maintains paper work documentation of work performed in a complete and timely manner including timesheet, service reports, parts returns and other repair related reports deemed necessary.
• Ensure all repair procedures are carried out according to the service manual instructions.
• Ensure service jobs are completed efficiently within the standard job hour guidelines.
• Ensure work areas are kept clean and tidy at all times, maintaining good housekeeping
• To perform in-house and on-site calibration.

Requirements

• Possess certificates, diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Proven work experience as a marine mechanic.
• Ability to work in engine room onboard vessel or offshore.
• Abide by all safety standard and practices while working in the workshop and field/site at all times.
