An established maritime organization is seeking a Marine Insurance & Claims professional to support the management of insurance matters and claims handling across vessel operations. The role involves coordinating with insurers, surveyors, and internal stakeholders to ensure the effective reporting, documentation, and resolution of maritime incidents and claims.

Responsibilities

• Handle marine insurance claims relating to vessel incidents such as collisions, property damage, cargo claims, pollution, salvage, and personal injury cases.
• Report incidents to insurers (Hull & Machinery and P&I Clubs) and coordinate with surveyors, insurers, and internal stakeholders to manage claim investigations and settlements.
• Prepare and manage claims documentation, maintain accurate records, and monitor the progress of insurance cases.
• Liaise with internal teams and external parties to ensure timely follow-up, claim submissions, and reimbursements.
• Support insurance administration matters, reporting, and other related tasks when required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Maritime, Law, or related discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in marine insurance, shipping, or claims handling.
• Familiarity with H&M and/or P&I insurance is advantageous.
• Good organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
