Objectives of the Position

• Continuously improve short- and long-term competitiveness of related production assets 
• Ensure product quality in accordance with market standards and customer expectations

Responsibilities 

• Actively drive monitor raw material cost and initiate saving measures together with controlling
• Facilitate introduction of new raw material sources at the sites. Evaluate strategic procurement and pre-buying decisions.
• Be the key contact to procurement for all site relevant raw materials.
• Monitor and manage site related fixed costs.
• Frequently initiate internal & external benchmarks to map competitiveness of production assets
• Be the business focal point to evaluate CAPEX and OPEX project
• Manage available capacity and plan capacity long-term. Drive maximum utilization. Participate in site operational planning meetings.
• Manage related safety stock decisions at site in coordination with supply chain.
• Ensure product quality and supply reliability in accordance with the expectation of our customers.
• Oversee asset related MOC processes, product specification and quality topics. Facilitate in case of major NCMs. 

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent in chemistry, material science, business administration or business related field
• Min. 5 business years’ experience (marketing, product management, supply chain, sales, R&D or production)
• Demonstrated leadership without functional or disciplinary responsibility
• Strong analytical, project management, technical and commercial background
• Excellent communication skills, a good team player who is able to interact in a multicultural and multi-functional environment
• Experienced in planning (budgeting, controlling)
• Able to occasionally travel within the region / across regions
• Role will be located at candidate’s location
