Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan invites passionate and capable individuals to join our Secretariat as Director / Senior Manager / Manager.

Depending on experience and seniority, the successful candidate will take on leadership, managerial, or executive responsibilities in supporting the organisation’s governance, operations, and programmes.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive secretarial and organisational support to the Board of Directors, including meeting coordination, preparation of papers and minutes, and follow-up on action items.

Support the implementation of Board decisions and ensure effective communication and coordination across committees.

Draft speeches, messages, and official correspondence in both English and Chinese for the Board and leadership.

Assist in the planning and execution of programmes, events, and initiatives organised by the association.

Support the overall administration and coordination of the Secretariat to ensure smooth and effective operations.

Depending on appointment level, lead or supervise Secretariat staff and oversee operational planning and programme delivery.

Requirements

Degree from a recognised institution.

Extensive and relevant working experience, preferably in organisational management, administration, or related fields.

Bilingual in English and Chinese, with good written and spoken communication skills in both languages.

Ability to speak and understand Teochew dialect will be an advantage.

Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Able to work independently and engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
