Job Responsibilities

1. Responsible for managing and coordinating Sea Import/Export shipments including ISO Tanks
2. Ensure customer requirements are met, documentation is accurate and precise, completion of tasks or duties assigned with accuracy by continuously monitoring and managing costs, timelines and service quality.
3. Knowledge on SAP system
4. Arranging & creation of booking in system, checking & confirming of schedule availability once received from customers
5. Coordinating and resolve shipment issues
6. To communicate efficiently with customers, shipping lines (including customer’s appointed carrier/co-loader), transport team, trucking partners, warehouse team (including customer’s appointed warehouses) & overseas offices to ensure smooth pickup/ delivery of the shipments.
7. Timely preparation of documentation (S/I, BL, Invoice, Packing List, Permits & Pre-alert) to customers, carriers/co-loaders, transport team, warehouse team & overseas offices
8. Ensure all transactions are handled in an accurate, complete and timely manner
9. To effectively follow up with customers, warehouse & oversea offices on any short-landed, over-landed, damaged or discrepancy cargo
10. Verifications of vendor costings, closing of all shipment files and uploading of documents into system including updating of customers’ shipment monitoring sheet if required.
