Job Summary

The Logistics cum Purchasing Assistant supports logistics and purchasing operations through accurate document management, data entry, vendor coordination, and general administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily workflows.

Responsibilities

• File and maintain financial and office documents accurately to support record-keeping and compliance
• Enter data into internal systems and Microsoft Excel promptly and accurately to ensure up-to-date information
• Coordinate goods receiving, import processes, and basic logistics activities to facilitate timely deliveries
• Serve as a point of contact for vendors, delivery personnel, and service providers to manage communications effectively
• Provide clerical and administrative support to various departments to assist with daily operations
• Perform scanning, photocopying, and other administrative tasks to support office functions
• Follow instructions to complete ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisors or managers to meet operational needs

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Exposure to procurement or logistics operations to contribute effectively to related tasks
• Knowledge of shipping Incoterms and delivery coordination to support import and logistics activities
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) to perform data entry and communication tasks
• Forklift licence as an added advantage for handling logistics equipment

• 5-day work week (Monday to Friday), 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
