Job Description

• Prepare and dispense prescription medications as prescribed by physicians, ensuring the correct drug, dosage, and formulation.

• Review prescriptions for legality, appropriateness, and accuracy of dosage.

• Verify patient information and check for allergies or potential drug interactions.

• Provide counselling to patients on medication usage, including dosage instructions, potential side effects, and proper storage.

• Address patient enquiries and concerns regarding medications and treatments.

• Collaborate with doctors and nurses to clarify prescriptions and resolve any discrepancies.

• Supervise and guide pharmacy support staff to ensure smooth pharmacy operations.

• Manage medication inventory, including stock control, proper storage, security, and documentation.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification.

• Able to commit to at least 2 - 3 days

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Able to start work on short notice or immediately
