Overview

We are looking for a System Administrator to manage and support our Linux servers and Kubernetes infrastructure running on Talos OS. The role focuses on daily operations, system maintenance, troubleshooting, vulnerability management and ensuring stable and secure environments.

Key Responsibilities

·        Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers.

·        Perform regular vulnerability assessment, security scans and apply patches as needed.

·        Conduct system updates, patching, OS hardening, and routine health checks.

·        Deploy, configure, and manage Talos OS nodes used for Kubernetes clusters.

·        Handle Talos machine configuration changes, upgrades, and node lifecycle tasks.

·        Support Kubernetes operations including deployments, scaling, resource management, and cluster maintenance.

·        Troubleshoot issues across Linux OS, Talos OS, containers, workloads, and cluster components.

·        Monitor systems using standard tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).

·        Maintain documentation and follow operational best practices.

Required Skills

·        2–5 years of experience in Linux system administration.

·        Working knowledge of Talos OS (or strong willingness to learn).

·        Understanding of containers (Docker/OCI) and basic networking concepts.

·        Basic scripting skills (Bash/Python).

·        Experience with troubleshooting system and cluster issues.

Nice-to-Have

·        Exposure to security hardening and monitoring tools.

·        Hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration.

Soft Skills

·        Strong troubleshooting and analytical mindset.

·        Good communication and documentation skills.

·        Ability to work collaboratively and support on-call rotations.
