Job Description
We are seeking an experienced part-time legal secretary to provide administrative and secretarial support to our legal team. This is a long-term, permanent part-time position. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
General Roles & Responsibilities
· General administrative duties
· Data entry & filing and maintenance of both physical and electronic records
· Draft and prepare correspondence, basic legal documents, and standard forms under the supervision of lawyers
· Monitoring of deadlines and lawyers’ schedule
· Preparing bills
· Open new client files, conduct KYC checks, and maintain proper client due diligence records in accordance with firm procedures
Requirements
· Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a Singapore law firm — candidates with no prior law firm experience will not be considered
· Hands-on experience in at least one practice area: litigation, conveyancing, or corporate secretarial work
· Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin is required to effectively communicate with predominantly Chinese-speaking clients.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook software applications is essential
· Familiarity with KYC procedures and client file opening processes
· Meticulous, well-organised and can work well under time constraints. Must be prepared to work beyond office hours when required
· Motivated, pro-active and able to work in a team
· Able to work 2 to 3 days a week
