Responsibilities:

• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements and other documents; and render legal advice
• Provide legal advice and support to the group of companies on a broad range of commercial issues
• Handle the setting up of subsidiaries, associates, branches and project offices as well as the closing or liquidation of such set up
• Coordinate with external legal counsels and consultants as well as oversee the progress of their work
• Coordinate with and advise business units and departments on legal matters
• Any other duties to be assigned from time to time

Prerequisites:

• Degree in Law
• Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience, with strong knowledge of construction law and experience in the construction industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skill, pro-active and independent
• High attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks
• Willing to travel when required
