Job Description
This role partners with Tech leadership to drive strategic alignment, governance, and execution across the Technology Division, integrating financial management, vendor governance, and business operations to support sustainable delivery of strategic outcomes.
Responsibilities
Strategy & Transformation
- Collaborate with Senior Management to shape and execute Technology strategy and transformation priorities
- Drive program governance by tracking milestones, risks, and interdependencies to ensure timely delivery
- Support senior management and board-level strategic engagements with clear communication and insights
IT Finance Management
- Lead budgeting, financial planning, and cost governance for Technology initiatives to optimize resource allocation
- Drive cost optimization while balancing investment and innovation priorities to maximize business value
- Provide forward-looking financial insights to support strategic decision-making and investment planning
- Embed value-based investment frameworks linking technology spend to measurable business outcomes
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Define and execute technology sourcing and vendor strategies aligned with business objectives
- Lead procurement activities for projects and business-as-usual operations to ensure compliance and efficiency
- Establish robust vendor governance, performance management, and risk oversight to mitigate operational risks
- Drive commercial optimization and manage strategic vendor relationships to enhance value and service delivery
Corporate Functions & Governance
- Lead initiatives to drive people, culture, and engagement across the Technology Division to foster a high-performance environment
- Manage communication platforms such as townhalls and leadership updates to maintain transparency and alignment
- Act as a key liaison with Group functions and stakeholders to ensure cohesive collaboration
- Manage governance forums, reporting, and operating rhythms to maintain effective oversight and accountability
Required competencies and certifications
- Proven expertise in IT financial management, sourcing, and governance frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into execution with measurable outcomes
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior leadership levels
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- High ownership, adaptability, and disciplined execution
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- A good degree with 8–10 years’ experience across IT strategy, finance, procurement, or vendor management
- Track record in cost optimization and operational efficiency
