Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscape Operations Executive to oversee and coordinate our landscape maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will ensure site safety, uphold quality standards, and provide technical guidance to staff. Certification such as Certified Practising Horticulturist (CPH) or ISA Certified Arborist is highly preferred. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, with a strong willingness to learn and develop within the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of landscape sites to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure all team members are equipped with appropriate safety gear
- Address and resolve customer feedback promptly, maintaining high levels of client satisfaction
- Coach and mentor new and existing staff on landscape maintenance techniques and safety procedures
- Provide technical guidance on pruning, planting, pest management, and sustainable practices
- Supervise daily operations and allocate tasks efficiently among team members
- Foster teamwork and motivate staff to achieve operational goals
- Maintain relevant certifications (CPH or ISA Certified Arborist) and stay updated on industry standards
- Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn, adapt, and solve problems independently
- Keep accurate records of site inspections, safety incidents, and customer feedback
- Prepare reports for management on operational performance and site conditions
Qualifications & Skills:
- Certification as Certified Practising Horticulturist (CPH) or ISA Certified Arborist is highly preferred; however, we welcome fresh graduates with relevant educational background
- Diploma or Degree in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, Environmental Science, or related field is advantageous
- Prior experience in landscape maintenance or horticultural practices is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong willingness to learn, with a proactive attitude towards skill development
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and efficiently manage tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot on-site issues
- Good organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with team members and clients
- Leadership qualities to guide and motivate team members
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and effectively
- Knowledge of sustainable landscape practices and environmental stewardship
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Willingness to undertake ongoing training and professional development
