Job Summary

You will manage daily production operations, ensuring seamless workflow execution and timely order processing. Collaborate across teams to resolve technical challenges and contribute to continuous process improvements in a fast-paced life sciences environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily production operations by following established workflows, SOPs, and proper handling of tools and equipment to maintain operational efficiency
• Monitor and communicate daily production status, processing methods, challenges, and bottlenecks to relevant stakeholders to enable proactive resolution
• Ensure all orders are processed and results are released promptly to meet customer expectations and operational deadlines
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organization by performing regular housekeeping of lab benches, instruments, and machines to support a safe and efficient work environment
• Respond to customer inquiries related to routine technical questions on DNA sequencing processes and troubleshooting to provide timely and accurate support
• Document and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for production activities to ensure compliance and knowledge sharing
• Collaborate with the production team to carry out additional production-related tasks as required to support business objectives

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, or Molecular Biotechnology

• Demonstrated ability to work independently with an inquisitive mindset to identify and solve production challenges
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Effective team player with strong initiative and analytical thinking to contribute to continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work night shifts
