Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of YTL Power International Berhad, is in the business of producing, wholesaling, trading and retailing of energy; with a primary focus on electricity. RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

• Perform quantitative and qualitative testing analysis of boiler water, feedwater, waste water and demineralised water in accordance with established standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of lab equipment to ensure optimal functionality
• Prepare laboratory reagents and chemical solutions following standard formulas and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
• Support chemical treatment processes for boiler feed water and cooling systems.
• Manage inventory of laboratory supplies and chemicals, including ordering and replenishment.
• Prepare monthly chemical plant operation reports, graphs, and statistical summaries.
• Conduct environmental program tracking and follow up actions
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and PPE requirements during all tasks
• Handling ad-hoc task as assigned.

Requirements

• NITEC or Diploma in Chemistry or equivalent qualification.
• Preferably with at least 1 year of relevant laboratory experience (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
• Meticulous and systematic, with a solid understanding of basic laboratory practices and procedures.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently, and a strong team player.
