Laboratory Specialist (PHYSICS)

You will be working with a team of Physics laboratory specialists for management, operations and general maintenance of department work areas and facilities, including the smooth running of Physics laboratories and preparation of Physics practicals. You will provide support and collaborate with members of the team/department in teaching and learning, assessment, competitions and department activities.

Requirements:

• At least a recognized diploma in a related discipline.
• Relevantexperience and knowledge in the operations of Physics laboratories in a schoolor an educational setting, including risk and safety management, and financial/procurementcompliance.
• Stronganalytical, problem-solving, and technical skills, including equipmentmaintenance.
• Committedto quality assurance - good organizational and record-keeping abilities.
• Goodcommunication skills are desirable.
• Adaptable,meticulous, pro-active and good team player.
