[Note: This is a non-renewable fixed-term contract.]

The Histopathology Laboratory is seeking a contract staff to provide transcription and clerical support for a period of 6 months. This role is an important part of our laboratory operations and supports specimen processing, report preparation and general administrative duties within the Histopathology section.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transcription of histopathology reports

• Clerical duties including filing, data entry, scanning and document organisation

• Assist Medical Lab Technologists/Scientists and Pathologists with administrative tasks and workflow coordination

• Accession and handle specimens received for Histopathology testing

Job Requirements:

• Previous laboratory or healthcare experience is beneficial but not required

• GCE N / O Level or NITEC in Biomedical Science preferred, but alternative qualifications will be considered

• Basic computer and data entry skills required
