This contract role for a Lab Manager offers an exciting opportunity to join the team at Flex', a leading technology company, at their office in the Flex Kallang. As Lab Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company's laboratory facility, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to all relevant safety and quality standards.

What you'll be doing

• Assist senior engineers and researchers in the assembly and testing of new topologies for advancing the state of the art in power systems, including magnetic structures, electronics components, assemblies, and subassemblies. 

• Collaborate in testing state-of-the-art power system designs consisting of new or modified components, assemblies, and subassemblies.

• Assist senior engineers in the collection of test data and results.

• Execute the assembly of complex electronic products upholding strict design standards and configurations.

• Work from preliminary schematics, part lists, and basic description of component function, configuration, and arrangement as defined by the research team.

• Serve as lab manager, maintaining an orderly and efficient lab environment.  Maintain lab equipment inventories, and schedule periodic equipment maintenance and calibration.

What we're looking for

• Must be able to operate independently.

• Must have technical background in electrical assembly and testing  of power electronic systems

• Must have experience in making electrical connections for test measurements. 

• Must be familiar with usage of general electrical test equipment such as PC, multi-meter,  oscilloscope,    power supply, Eload, etc.  as well as taking electrical test measurements using this equipment. 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Proficiency in data analysis and report generation using relevant software tools

• Thorough understanding of relevant industry regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards
