Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and

preparing ingredients.

- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.

- Ensure kitchen areas are cleaned and sanitized according to food safety standards.

- Stock and organize food supplies and ingredients in the kitchen.

- Assist in the proper storage of food and ingredients, ensuring compliance with food safety guidelines.

- Handle and dispose of kitchen waste responsibly.

- Help in basic cooking and food assembly as instructed by the chef.

- Support in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations during service.

- Ensure that kitchen tools and equipment are in good working condition and report any malfunctions.

- Assist with other kitchen duties as needed to ensure efficient kitchen operations.


REQUIREMENTS

- At least 2 year of relevant kitchen work experience.

- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.

- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Good teamwork and communication skills.

- Able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

- No allergy to seafood and able to work in a non-halal environment.
