The position is responsible for supporting Marketing/Trading (including purchase and sale) of Agricultural Commodities, and related risk management through the multiple destination offices.  The incumbent will be part of a team with responsibility for maintaining close contact with ADM regional offices and customers in addition to arbitraging contracts, markets and freight advantages. The position also communicates market information, opportunity and activity within the group.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and execute trading strategies by leveraging the physical flows into the destination countries
• Develop and execute on trading strategies for both CnF and local trade
• Monitor market trends, analyze supply and demand dynamics, and identify trading opportunities.
• Support the destination offices in particular Thailand
• Oversee market and freight risk and execution to ensure the timely and efficient execution of contracts
• Manage credit terms and risk in line with the Groups’ agreed limits, controls and procedures
• Liaising with origins and destination ADM offices to ensure an efficient least-cost supply chain as well as contractual contract execution
• Identifying and executing arbitrage opportunities that add value to the Group   
• Stay informed about regulatory changes, tariffs, and trade policies affecting agricultural commodities.
• Compiling and distributing accurate market information and communicating this with other members of the Group and the wider ADM divisions.

Your Profile

• Bachelor Degree with business/economic/trading background preferred
• Minimum 2 to 3 years commercial experience, including trading and logistics in agricultural commodities    
• Good understanding of market fundamentals, trading strategies, and risk management principles.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in market analysis and forecasting.
• Good understanding of the SEA market in particular Thailand
