Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer to join a growing team supporting the development and integration of advanced software solutions, including video management and system integration projects. The ideal candidate should have strong fundamentals in software development and exposure to CCTV / IP camera / VMS technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement applications using .NET, RDBMS (MS SQL), RESTful APIs and Microservices

• Enhance and maintain video management and system integration solutions together with the development team

• Integrate third-party systems with Video Management Systems (VMS) to deliver stable and scalable solutions

• Support design, deployment and configuration of integration solutions to ensure performance and compatibility

• Use code quality tools such as SonarQube (or equivalent) to improve maintainability and code standards

• Participate in code review and ensure adherence to development best practices

• Apply secure software design principles and basic networking knowledge in solution development

• Support security measures during development and testing

• Assist in setting up testing frameworks including unit testing, integration testing and system testing

• Participate actively in full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) from requirements to deployment

• Work closely with engineers, project managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver project goals

• Prepare documentation for code, processes and system implementation to support future maintenance and knowledge sharing

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Engineering / IT or related discipline

• 1–3 years of relevant software development experience

• Proficiency in .NET, MSSQL, and RESTful API development

• Hands-on exposure to CCTV / IP Camera / Video Management System (VMS) is preferred

• Familiar with SDLC processes, testing frameworks, and code quality tools (e.g. SonarQube)

• Knowledge of networking principles and secure software design is an advantage

• Strong problem-solving skills, good communication, and ability to work well in a team
