Job Summary

Support the implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of network infrastructure to ensure stable and secure operations. Assist senior engineers in troubleshooting, optimization, and security tasks.

Responsibilities

Assist in configuring and maintaining network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
Monitor network performance and report issues or anomalies
Support troubleshooting of network connectivity and performance problems
Help maintain and update network documentation, diagrams, and configurations
Assist in implementing basic network security measures (e.g., firewall rules, access controls)
Perform routine checks, upgrades, and maintenance tasks on network systems
Support incident response efforts by collecting logs and helping with initial analysis
Work with senior engineers to implement network improvements and upgrades
Assist in configuring load balancers and managing traffic flow under guidance
Follow established procedures and best practices for network operations
Collaborate with IT teams to resolve user and system network-related issues

Preferred Competencies and Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or currently pursuing)
0–2 years of networking experience (internship or project experience is acceptable)
Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching)
Familiarity with Cisco or similar networking technologies is a plus
Basic knowledge of network security concepts (firewalls, VPNs)
Willingness to learn SDN, SD-WAN, and cloud networking
Good problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Entry-level certifications such as CCNA are a plus
