• As a Tech Officer, your role involves managing project timelines for a list of serviced requests for system enhancements, overseeing and managing the allocated budget, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time. You will manage project documentation, budget approvals, and tender processes, including drafting Approval of Requests for necessary clearances.
• You will be responsible for liaising with stakeholders both within the organisation and across various agencies for system-related inputs. You will identify user requirements from organisation and industry stakeholders, and engage internal and external parties to gather inputs, secure buy-in, and uphold governance to ensure systems operate with integrity and trust.
• You will support recurring programme governance and prepare regular progress updates and assessments for presentation to management for information and/or decision-making.
• You will review and redesign licensing and regulatory business processes with the organisation’s business divisions handling core regulatory workstreams, with the aim of improving efficiency and reducing redundancy.
• In addition to system enhancement and development work, you will also undertake system administration functions such as account creation and termination, and ensure compliance with government IT policies and instructions, including the Government Instruction Manual. You will be responsible for the development, review, and maintenance of system-related Business Continuity Plans, Standard Operating Procedures, and guidelines for the organisation’s systems.

Requirements

• Hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree with at least 2years of experience in project management.
• Experience with projects involving system enhancement and development.
• Familiarity with budget approval and procurement processes, such as putting up AORs, is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies or software/systems development is an advantage.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English.
• Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MicrosoftOffice Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bridge the language barrier between IT and non-IT personnel is preferred.
• Professional in handling inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Responsible, disciplined, and a strong team player.
