Contract | Bank

Responsibilities:

• Source and assess technology vendors, products, and services through structured procurement processes such as RFPs and RFQs, in line with the bank’s technology strategy and business needs.

• Negotiate commercial terms, including pricing, contractual terms and conditions, and service level agreements with technology vendors.

• Partner with internal stakeholders and business units to understand procurement requirements and define specifications.

• Manage the full procurement lifecycle, including requisition, vendor selection, contract execution, delivery, invoice verification (3-way matching), and vendor performance review.

• Maintain accurate procurement documentation and trackers to support audit and compliance requirements.

• Conduct market research to identify new technology solutions and opportunities for cost optimisation.

• Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

• Build and maintain effective relationships with key technology suppliers and partners.

• Monitor vendor performance against contractual obligations and SLAs, addressing issues where necessary.

• Work closely with Legal to review and finalize vendor contracts in accordance with the bank’s policies and regulatory framework.

• Coordinate with Risk, Outsourcing, and relevant internal teams to complete vendor risk assessments and ensure proper risk documentation in internal systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• 4–6 years of relevant experience in procurement, preferably with exposure to technology sourcing.

• Understanding of IT infrastructure, data centres, software licensing models, and technology-related services.

• Strong analytical and evaluation skills, with the ability to review vendor proposals and contractual terms.
