Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven IT Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for pitching and securing government projects and commercial sector deals, managing the entire IT sales process, and building strong relationships with new and existing clients. This role focuses on IT Software solutions, dealing with enterprise-level projects. The candidate must have a solid understanding of IT solutions and services to effectively address client requirements and close deals successfully.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in government and commercial sectors.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term business growth.
- Understand client requirements and work closely with technical teams to propose suitable IT solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, government regulations, and competitive landscape.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and strategic plans for business growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project implementation post-sales.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
- Proven track record in IT sales, preferably in government and commercial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of IT software solutions, enterprise projects, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Experience in managing tender processes and government procurement would be an advantage.
