Job Description

Job Description: -

• Management of network incidents escalations from L1/L2, incident and problem and security incident response.

• Responsible to work with the respective infra tower teams in troubleshooting and identify root cause, related to network.

• Responsible to work with the respective network vendors’ support teams for the troubleshooting, identification and resolution of network problems.

• Handling of the critical network incidents under pressure situations to resolve in timely manner to minimize the business impact.

• Attend to conference calls with other support teams for problem identification and resolutions.

• Must have good communication skills and able to work independently.

• Must adhere to process and policies of the Customer.

• Change process management of both Customer and Huawei alignment.

• Day to day configuration as required by the customer on Huawei Devices.

• Perform insight on the customer network.

• Perform preventive maintenance, able to monitor each task and to provide report to customer on preventive maintenance checks and each issue follow up action.

• Able to maintain relationship with customer and to advise what technical issues that they might be facing.

• Able to work as a team with all TD's to provide a resolution on technical problem that they might be facing.

• Able to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.

Qualification and Necessary Skillset:-

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science

• In-depth understanding of the networking concepts - Routing, Switching, WLAN/LAN/WAN, Spanning Tree Protocol, HSRP, ARP, VLAN, Inter-VLAN Routing, OSPF, BGP etc.

• Hands on experience on routers and switches for basic troubleshooting of the network related problems and incidents.

• Advanced hands-on experience on troubleshooting complex network problems.

• Logical thinking and problem analysis skills to troubleshoot complex network problem to isolate the root cause and provide suitable resolution.

• Knowledge of advanced network technologies like VXLAN, Cisco ACI, VXLAN BGP eVPN, SDA, SDWAN etc will be added advantage

• Understand of wireless network technology and willingless to learn
