Position Overview:An Interior Designer is responsible for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing indoor spaces by selecting essential and decorative items such as colors, lighting, and materials. They work with clients to understand their needs and preferences, create design plans, and oversee the implementation of these plans to ensure client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients to discuss their needs, preferences, and budget.
• Create detailed plans, sketches, and 3D models using design software.
• Select and specify materials, furniture, lighting, and accessories.
• Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other professionals.
• Oversee the installation and implementation of design elements.
• Ensure projects are completed within budget and on time.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends, materials, and techniques.
• Present design concepts and revisions to clients.
• Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers.
• Conduct site visits to ensure design specifications are met.
• Prepare and manage project budgets and timelines.
• Provide post-installation support and make adjustments as needed.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., NCIDQ) preferred.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in interior design or a related field.

Skills:

• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Revit.
• Strong understanding of building codes, inspection regulations, and accessibility standards.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative and artistic ability with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
