Job Description

We are seeking a creative and talented Interior Designer to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to turn clients' visions into functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces. As an Interior Designer, you will work on a variety of projects, from residential to commercial spaces, and collaborate with clients, architects, and other professionals to bring interior design concepts to life.

Responsibilities:

• Work from rough sketches and specifications created by the project manager.
• Design plans using computer-aided design and drafting (CAD) software.
• Draft and prepare layout drawings.
• Collaborate with designers, contractors and project managers on projects.
• Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements.
• Knowledgeable to draw for C&S, Mechanical and Electrical works using CAD
• Manage project site vendors and progress
• Ensure all works meet quality standards and government regulations
• Ensure that the expenditure of the projects are kept within budget
• Attend meetings and liaise with consultants, sub-contractors and any other parties involved in the project
• Inspect off-site fabrication and on-site installation
• Ensure that all the defects have been rectified before the arrangement for pre-site inspection
• Perform any other ad hoc duties

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Interior Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing previous projects.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methods in Singapore.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities.
• Attention to detail and a creative mindset.
